I have still have been sewing and crafting as usual. I made John's little sister some calendar blocks, a grocery sack holder, and a little sign that said" when I said I Do I didn't mean Dishes" along with a bunch of cleaning supplies for her bridal shower. I made myself a sack holder while I was at it. I have been getting ready for our Disney Cruise with Johns family I cannot hardly wait.I finished all the paper work and got our passports and birth certificates all in a safe place just waiting for the big day!I tried to order a new cricut cartridge but it of coarse was back ordered so I found a friend who had one.FREE even better! So I was going to make some autograph pages for the characters on the cruise, but didn't want to spend the time on it, so I have made shirts! I decided that Kayde would need some Disney attire, but didn't feel like $20 bucks for a t shirt she most likely would stain was a good deal. So I got thinking and decided to make some mickey mouse applique shirts would be great. She has 3 and Casen will be getting one as well his mom loved the idea to. Those three dollar shirts from walmart and a fleece scarf from the dollar store have been good for this! I also made some curtains to hide an ugly(un-Sheetrock-able) wall in our laundry room. I LOVE the way they turned out. I got my fabric for a dollar a yard out of the clearance bin at walmart. Next on the sewing list is quilts! I am so excited to start trying my hand at it. I'm going to make Kayde a comforter and bed skirt, maybe so pillows too for her big girl bedroom she will be getting this summer.
I had my Dance Recital for the studio I teach at which including all the prep we do for it took 3 weeks, and then a week after that I was a hostess mom for a girl in the Miss Gunnison Pageant. She got 2nd atendent. I was super proud! I also threw a bridal shower for a Friend, and then had Kayla's shower to.
Kaydence Is SOOO big. I can't believe she is closer to being 2 than she is 1. She runs everywhere right now(and she is getting fast). She has a huge vocabulary I love it. she will count to 3 if she fells like it, can say most anybodies name. Still loves both her grandpa's, but LOVES going to the farm with my dad, who she calls "Papa". She has also named my grandma,"Nana", which is super funny, I have no idea where she herd that or came up with the idea. She is so funny and can dance with the best of dancers. She is also a climber, but interestingly enough doesn't try to get in or out of her crib. I will often find she is awake by her calling me from her bed"momma.... momma..." it is so cute. She loves to be outside! I have to make sure I keep our blinds in our new french doors to the back closed until we are both dressed or it is a fight until we are out there. She is very independent(shocker right?) We have a few power struggles here and there(unfortunately we believe in spanking) so I usually win but it we feel that in the long run it is better for all of us. Kayde is also really into dolls, and anything baby like. She loves to keep her babies wrapped up in the blankets I had to make for her( I tried giving her dish clothes but she knew better). I am excited to see how she will be with her new cousin due to arrive in August( Huge congrats to Zack and Mindy on the new little boy!). Well thanks for hanging in there with me. Just think of this as like three posts in one. I hope to get some more pictures of my creations on here, but until then enjoy these!
I had my friend Jessica Pratt took these. I wanted an old time feel with some of them. I think she did great with my vision. Especially when it was a fight to get Kayde to smile, act happy or even pay attention to us!

My Utah version of bluebells( hey she liked the purple weeds).
