Post Vacation Happenings

John finally finished our front door! Wow he is so good at everything he does. ha ha. I love our door and the fact that I designed it and John built it is so cool to me!
Ok so we went to the lake on Mikes boat for the first outing of the year.No body would go with us so It was just John Kaydence and I for a while, but David Crane came out a while later. I went wake boarding for the first time since becoming prego. I didn't even crash too bad. I took Kaydence out on the tube, she loved it. John also Wake boarded a little the water was great, a little cold, but we live in Utah. Ha Ha.

My brother was ordained an Elder last Thursday by John, then Zack was able to bless my niece that Sunday! I was so proud that John was the person Zack asked. It really meant a lot to me. I'm glad that Zack now has the priesthood in his home and can bless his little family anytime. And I could never catch their family together so Ididn't get a picture of them. But here we are. ha ha

I've been a little photo happy, Kadence is just so cute. I was waiting for my parents to go help them herd some cows so I sat Kayde down and snappy snappy, but I love the pictures. I also got some of her up 12 mile canyon while John was at a bow shoot deal. they were fun cause she had her little camo outfit on. then after my mom and grandma decorated grave for memorial day they had extra so I stuck kayd in amongst them. I Love being a mom so much! It is such a blessing I get to play with her all day, and not miss out on any thing!!!

A taste of our Vacation

John and I had a fun time, our condo was nice(for where we were at) We had a nice surprise right off. our car had been rented out, so they upgraded us to a Jeep. We loved that. I doubt you can read my inset, but it just says that we were on the 4th floor(the top) there were no stairs, the views were amazing and we had a mini kitchen that I thought would be a full. so over all it was all that we needed.

The first of many. I'm slow, but I'm painting my house working in the yard, and helping my parents with the cows( I just go for the ride ha ha). Any way I'm busy, so I'm trying.

Ok here is our Deep sea fishing trip hopefully it works. we were by far the best fishers( is that the right term) of every one on the boat. we did what they call a party mix, you just pay for your trip and not to rent the whole boat. it was about 2/3 cheaper that way, and we got to meet a few new people. any way John caught a giant King fish the captain said it was the biggest catch of the day, but it is considered a trash fish so we couldn't eat it. I was able to catch a 20 lb Tuna. It was the only whole edible fish caught on our trip. every one else kept getting eaten by the sharks. Yup I just said Sharks, One guy even caught one. I also caught 2 baracuda's ha ha, John got a needle fish and some other thing. Man it's a good thing I'm getting this down befor I forget more info.

Fixin up/Last Time.....

So we have been busy. I decided to start my bow club this month (Thanks every one who was able to make it, I had a great night). So like usual I decided to fix up a room, well it was the basement room, I had already gotten the paint back in January so John and I went to town. The color went from fry sauce pink to a cream yellow(ya I think it's the same as my front room upstairs.I love the way it turned out, I also went through some of my left over decorations I got from our wedding to decorate, and of course Johns deer. Whatever, three is his number and he is proud of them, but they HAVE to stay downstairs.

New Hall light
This was an old light but it was a shiny gold, so I bought a can of spray paint, they look brand new!Not a bad fix for $3( the new lights I wanteed were close to $100 for 2)

I can pull myself up to almost anything. I started doing this like 5 days after I decided to crawl.
First Baby cone. That darn Grandma.
Our new fascination! The ground, she loves being carried like this.
OK So as some of you know John and I decided to go to the virgin islands for our vacation this year. We wanted to really enjoy ourselves so we are leaving Kaydence with her grandparents( both sets, my parents on the weekends, and Johns during the week). We decided that would be best for her and us. Well the only bad thing about leaving her behind, besides missing her and almost crying at the thought of leaving her, is I'm still nursing.Yikes, so after weeks of debating on if I should pump and dump while on my trip, or "dry up" for lack of a better term, I went to the doctor to see his "professional opinion". He advised me she should be fine to just go straight to cows milk( she has massive problems with formula). So as of 10:00 this morning it was the last time Kayde and I get to nurse. I will kind of miss the bonding time, but am really glad to be done. So mom's what is the best/fastest way to do this? I can't change my mind I hear it can be quite painful, I'm not to that stage yet.... so any mommy to mommy tips?

PIcture overload! I've been having fun!

Here is what has been going on.
OK how sad am I this is one of the three pictures I have of Kaydence's first Easter.

This is my sweet niece Atley( she is getting so big, she has started to laugh and smile at you)

Here is a picture from our day at the spa (Steph I have these on my camera card now so just remind me you need them.)

This is us waiting FOREVER at the cheese Cake factory(we still didn't get to eat there.

So anyone need a welder? That's right I finally made my OWN project, I always get these ideas and make John weld them. Well he finally had a spare weekend so I asked him if he could teach me how to weld. So I cut all but 4 of my pieces out and did all the bending of the metal, and did all but 8 of the welds! He says I'm really good already( I'm pretty sure it is because I'm his wife,
they didn't look to great to me)

My final project, it's for all my ribbon, the arms move so I can slide the spools on and off, I added some spokes on top for some extra thread!

We moved a pine tree! Hopefully we didn't kill it! but it has really opened up our back yard.

Thanks for a great day of Shopping Steph! I think we about did our kids in, this is how we found them when we stopped for a quick bite to eat.( yes I fixed Kaydence, no she wasn't happy about it)

I love how happy my baby is, she wakes up like this and pretty much stays this way til bed time!

I its official we are crawling. Nothing is safe and I need to deep clean and Kaydence proof everything!

It's Bow Time!!

Ok Mindy(my brother's wife) and I have decided that we are going to start up a "Bow Club" or class whatever you want to call it. It will be the first thursday of every month at 7pm. So this month we are going to try it at my house, we will be making 2 ribbon bows, and 1 flower clip each time we meet. All you need is $5, and your own hot glue gun ( you can get them for under $5 and will use them all the time! We will have all the materials. We have decided we don't want to meet up in the months of July or December, but don't you worry we have planned ahead so we can still make those Holiday bows:) Here is a sneak peak of what I'll be showing you how to make this time:)
The Boutique Bow- not hard but super cute!

We are having a hard time deciding on which bug bow to make first. There is also ladybugs, but I can't find the picture.
Bee

Buterfly

Dragonfly( the wings are closer together than the butterflyies)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave coments if you want to come or email me! I can't wait to get the kits together!

Update Time

Here is what we have been up to.

The very first of this month (ok it was the 31st of last month) I got with some friends to have lunch for b-days. I was so nice to chat. We ended up just talking for like 3 hours.

John had a mission reunion, this is his favorite( I don't use this word lightly here) Mission President, and no he isn't a midget, but he isn't too tall either.

We gave up our Sadie!!!I can't believe we really did it.I had been feeling so bad that I haven't been spending enough time with her. Well a new home kind of .... found her. So We just gave her away to a little girl(I know the people and they were so excited to have her) I probably sound heartless, but I felt so good letting Sadie go to her new family. I hope she is happier. I'll post more details, or just call me if you want the whole story.

So as most new moms do I have been making tons of bows.Lets just say her old holder ran out of space, so I made this new one.I braided willows together then glued ribbon on it for the bows(I just made that sound a lot easier than it was!)

We had Kaydence's 6 month pictures taken(ok more like seven). they turned out so cute. I had Dave Peterson do them for me. I couldn't wait to get my prints so Here are my pictures of pictures. So All credit goes to Peterson Studios of Manti. He is so good to work with, I just showed up with all this junk and some copies of some ideas, and he snapped away. I'll put the real ones on when i get them.

I know I keep saying that Kaydence is really close to crawling, well here is proof she is really getting there. She can pretty much get to what she wants.

We are all happy and healthy, Kayde never stops amazing me and her daddy. Hope you All have a great Easter Weekend! I'm going camping , and I get to go to a spa/ see WICKED!! Can't wait for either thing, ya I know I'm weird.
