Our first catch...

We also went fishing on the 4th, in between our swim and Aurora's Fireworks. Kaydence and I have been practicing almost daily with her little princess fishing pole for this one day. hee hee. Well it took a while, but she caught one!!! John was so excited for her.He had to help her a little but she reeled it in mostly by herself.

Twins Res( or is it towns? not sure, they are only like 2 miles away from each other)

So proud!! Daddy and Daughter!!

And yes she is a girlly girl. She freaked out right after I took the previous picture because the fish was icky. It was so nice having John home for almost 2 days. we sure miss him while he is gone.
Wow I look wiped out, I wish I could say it was because my baby doesn't sleep. haha Lets blame it on allergies.  Oh and that beautiful bald head is D'Enna, she and I camped out and had snack while John and Kayde fished.

Happy 4th!!

We had a great 4th this year. First off because John was home and secondly because we played every second we could!!! We started the day off with Gunnison's kick bum parade. It is really quite great, there are always like 70-100 entrees( all throwing candy)  So it lasts for a good hour.

Kaydence and papa mark getting ready for collections
Gunnison's very own Tow Mator, the wrecker used to be my grandpa Dee's back in it's prime.

D'Enna wasn't a fan of the heat or the Fire trucks. God thing daddy's finger are great ear plugs.

Kaydence wasn't a fan of the high school student body and their squirt guns. HA HA HA

She even got a birds eye view.

After the Fire trucks left D'Enna crashed!!

We went to the carnival to catch up and see some old friends. We had a few extra tickets that Kaydence didn't use on the rides, so we got the girls face's painted.

It was SOOOO hot so we cooled off in the pool for a bit. EVERYONE loved it.

Our little Kick Back Jack. ha ha.

Aurora had fireworks this year. I guess they have them every year. Anyway They were so AWESOME!!! We will be making time for this every 4th.  Kaydence loved it, but it was loud again for the baby(4th of July really isn't that baby friendly)

3rd of July, fireworks

Gunnison city had their fireworks at the high school football field this year, and lucky for us my grandma has the perfect house and front yard to watch them from. We got in our pj's and headed over there.  Lucky enough D'Enna slept almost through the entire thing! Dustin Peterson and his family came up to. Kaydence loved having a friend to hang out with.

I think this will be a great senior video picture.  :)

Cowgirl in the making!

I took Kaydence up to have a horse ride with my parents. SHE LOVED it! I might be in trouble, mainly because I strongly dislike riding horses for more than 30 minutes. I think she would have stayed on a horse for days!

D'Enna

Ok our little miss D'Enna...

I had bunko on Wednesday the 9th and we all joked I would go into labor when i got home just because my mom was in Washington DC and Susan Johns mom was out of town as well. Well I started having contractions ever 10 minutes when I got home that night. Nothing serious so I got kaydence to bed and then kind of watched TV and kept track of contractions for an hour. My mom has made it back into Gunnison (I am relieved and my mom is put on notice to watch Kaydence)I told John to got to bed (it was nearly midnight and he may or may not have to got work). So I then called the hospital to get some opinions. I had been contracting for 3 hours every 8 minutes on the dot. They said to take a bath and relax for a while so I did. still nothing.(2 am) I double check my hospital bags. charge my Ipod, and try to sleep( have you ever tried to sleep while in labor?) so I got up at 5 with John and we decided to still wait a little longer before we headed to the hospital( my contractions are weak sauce, still consistent)
. So we ordered some Five star breakfast( the drive inn not the rating) because I knew it could be a while if we went to the hospital. And waited for kaydence. Well it is finally 8 am so I decided to go to the hospital. we all that freaking contracting and I had only dilated from a 2 to a 3!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Well they monitored my contractions for a while but pretty much said you are barely in labor and you might be a while you can stay here or go home. so I said Peace out!!!. I told John to go to work, I didn't want him being home bored all day when there were things he needed to get to at work. so He left and I went to my moms.

Mindy and I took our kids for a walk( i mean fat pregnant lady jog) for about an hour) If that didn't get things going I didn't know what would. haha. Well we got back and decided to tie the only baby Quilt I wanted for D'Enna (we got like 30 with Kaydence). SO we tied that went to Subway for lunch. Just a normal day, but I was Really feeling my contractions around 3 so I told John to finish things up and head home. he got home around 4:30, I really didn't want to get sent home again so I like a retard decide John of all people should take me for a 4-wheeler ride. DON'T do this ever!!! John was truly drove like a grandpa, but he might as well have driven like his usually self. I felt like my hips were literally falling off my body! ha ha. So we made it to the top of the "G" hill and we turned around and headed back get our truck and got to the hospital.... Well got Checked around 7 pm and i had went from a 3 to a 4. man I was so mad at myself. But I was effaced and everything else so my Doctor told me I was camping. Well we got settled in and John fell asleep. ha ha. I just watched the monitors thinking open like a flower. ha ha. The Nurse came in every few hours to see how I was doing, I really wanted to go Oh Natural this time so she wanted to make sure I was OK). Well me and my mini contractions kept going through the evening and my Doctor and I ( john was still sleeping) decided to start Pitocin at around midnight. Don't worry I woke john up to tell them they were doing this. haha. They got the pit going and things got intense! FINALLY. My water had still not broke, my Doctor said he would be back at 3 to break it if these new contractions hadn't already. well he came back and I had finally fell asleep, and of course I woke up at 3:30 to find I had just missed him and he wasn't coming back till 7 WHAT?! So I decided to wake John up and got for a walk. haha. My contractions were finally to the point of taking my breath away. So a walk was nice to get my mind off things. Well I was Dilated to a 7 at 7 am on Friday when my doctor came back and broke my water. This was BANANAS! they upped my pitocin around 6:50 so by the time my water was broke EVERYTHING was more intense! I had the nurse come check me at 7:30 I had already dilated to a 8. John was asking for the epidural. I said no. and to come back soon. Well in 5 minutes I told John get her back in here!!! with something. well she barely lifted my sheet and said the baby's head is THERE!!. So I am trying to focus on not ripping the bed sides off and staying under control. haha the nurse ran out to GET DOCTOR WILDEN HERE NOW!, then came back and started throwing tables, and delivery things around. while telling me to pant and not push! Has anyone ever been in this situation. The only thing you can think about or do IS push. So my panting turned into what seemed like a cat dying and me trying not to push. John is just rubbing my back trying to stay out of the way and telling me you are doing great babe, not much longer, you are amazing. stuff like that, probably because with Kayde's delivery i ripped his head off and told him to shut it. oops. Well after what seems like 5 hours( it couldn't have been 15 minutes) my doctor comes running in, he starts to wash up and the nurse says you don't have time for that! So the nurse helps him get gowned up and he sits down and says ok you can push with the next contraction. I just pushed, out comes her head, he clears everything out and gives me the ok, and i push a second time and the rest of her follows. So they take the baby and clean her up. while I deliver the placenta. They freaking took the bed apart to do this. They didn't have time to before I delivered the baby, so I was a little bugged by that. but Oh well. So I delivered our second perfect healthy baby girl on march 11, 2011 at 8 am, 6lbs, 3 oz and 19 inches long after being in labor for 3 days. Lets Just say the doctor said if my water breaks on its own I need to be running to the hospital next time.

We had lots of visitors, Both of her grandparents came by, and Kaydence. Kaydence liked her, but really was into the new dolly my mom had brought back from her trip. haha. Scott, Steph, Ken and Lindsi, Zack and Mindy came to see us and we had tons more come to meet Little D'Enna. But you forget things after 5 months. There is my novel. Congrats if you read it.

She had some hair, I was so excited.

Atley meeting her "baby Enna". She loved her form the start.

Kaydence like to touch her forehead. She was so careful and sweet.

This is my holly crap I just delivered my baby natrually face, and now have 2 kids

I love how he just stares at our babies! it is funny how Tiny he makes them look.

Time...

I think I would rather time grow on trees if we could pick between that or money. lol. It has been forever since I have posted. It is not that it hasn't been on my mind I really have planned on it but I lost my camera and a can't find my phone card adapter. I Just think posts tend to get boring with out pictures. So with out pictures here is a min update.
I am finishing up week 36 of my pregnancy, the doctor said this baby is ready to come, she is engaged, I'm dilated to a 2 and my cervix is super thin. YIKES. I am mostly ready for baby to be here, clothes blankets washed, bassinet fixed, diapers, wipes cream bought, and hospital bags mostly packed. I just am getting worried how I will be mommy to Kayde and share the love with this new baby. Oh we are 90 % sure she will be D'enna(after My grandpa Dee, and Johns Grandma Enna, kind of cool). Kayde asks when "Ne Enna" is coming to play or if she can come out yet. It makes me excited to think that Kaydence could be ready for a baby then she'll say stuff when I'm holding other infants like"give that baby back to it's mommy now!!" And it freaks me out. I know most people have 2, 3,4, 5... kids and love them all it is just crazy to think that it will work.
As you have read kaydence is a chatter box as usual. she was trying to sit on my lap facing me the other day and looked at my diminished lap and growing belly and said" sister move! I want to sit with mommy", I just laughed. She also likes to tease John, he will come home from being gone for 3-4 days and she won't say hi or even look at him , but the second he isn't watching she wants to smother and love on him. We have decided she does this cause she is mad at him for leaving. She has started to read to herself. Oh my it is funny. I decided I must have read her book enough because she know the story line to most of them. She is counting to 15 ish, and knows the basic colors. But she will only count and do colors on her own terms. If you ask she will just through out random answers. haha. She is getting pretty good with the alphabet as well. She amazes us every day we are so blessed to have her in our lives!
John... well he is the same as always. Working hard to play hard. He loves working in Manti with his dad and brother Scott. He has been able to go snowmobiling a lot more this winter than normal (like three times rather than once) so he has been pretty happy. He is off shed hunting or something now with some friends in Hanksville area. I hope he has fun. Kayde and I miss him while he is gone, but I have a hard time making him stay home when he works SOOO hard, to give us everything we need and want.
My studio is great. I did however have to get an assistant to help me finish out the year. Baylee Hamblin is my lifesaver. She is a sweet girl. I almost made it by my self, but after 3 weeks of finishing classes for the week on Thursdays and having contrations and just being SO WIPED OUT Fridays and Saturdays. I decided it was time. So she is helping me with everything but clogging. My recital is coming up fast and I think my kids are ready. But they are like all kids you never know. And with my luck I'll probably go into labor the day before the recital and have to postpone it. ha ha
I am planning on getting some pictures this afternoon. but you and I both know that probably won't happen.
