5 months

Our little D'Enna Bug. She is getting so big. She is starting to find her voice, I haven't introduced any cereal or solids into her diet, but soon. She is rolling over, and sort of sitting unsupported( I have to be very close she is still tipsy) and absolutely loves watching her sister Kaydence dance around and play. She is the best tempered baby ever, I even think better than Kaydence. D'Enna is sleeping from 9pm-7am at night and takes crazy 5 minute to 30 minute random cat naps through out the day. So this mommy can't complain.

First day of school :)

So I signed Kaydence up for preschool. I am so excited she gets to go make new friends, and interact with someone besides me and family. I think it will be SSOOOO good for her. She goes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30-1:30 To Jen Stewarts in Centerfield.  This is the best time for us. We are late risers at our house so we are still able to sleep in and make it to school with out looking homeless.

"get my back pack too mom, my other grandma gave it to me"( for those of you who don't know other grandma is actually my mom) that is what she calls her, and yes she knows her name is Delene.

 I have 2 kids and 1 is in school, just a little reality slap. Where does time go?

PS : Is she not super cute or is it just the proud mom in me?

Lessons, and a Daddy visit!

So we sent John back to work the 5th and started up swimming lessons.  I am so bad at taking pictures, but I did get these, she just jumped off the side of the pool to her teacher.Kaydence that is. Kaydence is a fish!, She loves the water and has NO fear of it( unfortunately!). But I love Manti's Aquatic center(aka pool).

We snuck up to Idaho to spend a week or so with John! It is so nice to go there, his Aunt and uncles are all so welcoming and caring. John's entire extended family seems to live within 10 miles of each other in Paul, Rupert, and Burley. So I got to get to know lots of them especially his grandma Kloepfer on a more personal level.

The boys got off a little early so we could have some much needed family time.  we went to some ICE CAVES, pretty cool. don't ask me where they are besides in Idaho out in the middle of no where.

We also went fishing on the 4th, in between our swim and Aurora's Fireworks. Kaydence and I have been practicing almost daily with her little princess fishing pole for this one day. hee hee. Well it took a while, but she caught one!!! John was so excited for her.He had to help her a little but she reeled it in mostly by herself.

And yes she is a girlly girl. She freaked out right after I took the previous picture because the fish was icky. It was so nice having John home for almost 2 days. we sure miss him while he is gone.

Wow I look wiped out, I wish I could say it was because my baby doesn't sleep. haha Lets blame it on allergies.  Oh and that beautiful bald head is D'Enna, she and I camped out and had snack while John and Kayde fished.

Happy 4th!!

We had a great 4th this year. First off because John was home and secondly because we played every second we could!!! We started the day off with Gunnison's kick bum parade. It is really quite great, there are always like 70-100 entrees( all throwing candy)  So it lasts for a good hour.

D'Enna wasn't a fan of the heat or the Fire trucks. God thing daddy's finger are great ear plugs.

We went to the carnival to catch up and see some old friends. We had a few extra tickets that Kaydence didn't use on the rides, so we got the girls face's painted.

It was SOOOO hot so we cooled off in the pool for a bit. EVERYONE loved it.

Aurora had fireworks this year. I guess they have them every year. Anyway They were so AWESOME!!! We will be making time for this every 4th.  Kaydence loved it, but it was loud again for the baby(4th of July really isn't that baby friendly)

3rd of July, fireworks

Gunnison city had their fireworks at the high school football field this year, and lucky for us my grandma has the perfect house and front yard to watch them from. We got in our pj's and headed over there.  Lucky enough D'Enna slept almost through the entire thing! Dustin Peterson and his family came up to. Kaydence loved having a friend to hang out with.

Cowgirl in the making!

I took Kaydence up to have a horse ride with my parents. SHE LOVED it! I might be in trouble, mainly because I strongly dislike riding horses for more than 30 minutes. I think she would have stayed on a horse for days!
