Happy spook day!

We had a great week end. Kaydence was a white tiger for Halloween, I was a sexy cat, and john was a poor homemade mouse. He on the other hand cut off his tail and ears, and now has super comfy lounge clothes. We went to Manti's trunk or treat, wow it is HUGE! I think most of sanpete goes. Like 4 of their Main Streets blocks were closed off, and full of cars, candy and trick or treaters young and old.

View of the porch, the corn was so awkward but I had it so it stayed.,

Can you see the pumpkin bum? that's all I could think of when I saw this. also John's pumpkin was a 2 for 1. kind of cool!
How cute, even with a grumpy face. ha ha She loves her bucket, I'm going to have to get more of these.
Looking for her extra stash.
The mouse and his 2 cats.

John being a pro carver.
She was eating the extra raw pieces loving life.

She has really got a knack for coloring

Whats up? I'll tell you

Well it's been a little crazy around here lately. I've decided to start using up my surplus of ribbon and flowers and make some extra cash! I'll be putting up a display in Eccentrix in Manti next week! Hopefully it will go well. I also decided to chat with a new boutique here in town (Timeless Treasures)and they want me to make them diaper cases and wipe cases! So I've been sewing and gluing and such like crazy!!

We went deer hunting with no luck, I sound picky, but I just couldn't shoot a baby Bambi, And our giant freezer is almost full anyway. So that was fun, no work and got to enjoy the mountains with my hubby!

Our Nephew turned 1, it is so funny how dang fast they grow! Like a dork I didn't get any pictures of my main man, but here are a few of his silly aunt and her friend.I told her she looked like Harry off dumb and dumber so she then pulled a perfect face for a photo!

ON a more relaxed note we were able to go on a little getaway! Steamboat Springs, Co. It was so beautiful. We had a great 2 bedroom Condo, so we asked John's Mission friend Cody, and his family Alli, and Sweet Little Maddi ,to come. This was there first trip with the new baby. She did great, Her Dad on the other hand got sick, Sorry Cody!!! But We went to kind of just bum around anyway, We went in the DEAD season so most of the fun things we wanted to do literally had closed the week before! We still went on a mini hike/walk to fish Creek water fall, John and I took Kayde to some mineral hot springs while Cody was sick. And We really just Ate the rest of the time.

Loving Steamboat! and her Dad's crazy stroller moves.

Yummy Corn.

View from our condo

The elk we had to stop-turn around and check out just inside the Co. boarder. Oh ya it was like 1 am.

This is so funny to me, she also chewed out her nurse after getter her 12 month shots this same way. I like John's commenting.

So I really needed to clean my housetoday, but I even more didn't want to! So I decided to Sew. I made these diaper cases, with wipe holders that match! It was only about 10.50 for both of them not to shabby for a small gift.

Kayde got her first piggy tails! I don't think they could be any cuter either. She Is so funny and independent we lover her to pieces.

Sorry where does a month go.

We had a girls day with my friends and their kids, this is a picture form them, I played photo shop. what do ya think?
So we had a shower for John's sister Tausha, It was girly girly girly! I hope she enjoyed it. I had a great weekend, with that said I have been horrible to take my camera along lately so not a lot of other pictures
Baby cake~
The baby had the works, hair, bow ,Binky, and a blanket.( I didn't dare try clothes)

How big is her tummy,(not very)?
Mommy to be.
Daddy, and mommy( Steve was trying to justify the hugeness of his ribbon).

The food, what is a party with out it? veggies, just cause you should, sandwiches, the cake pumpkin cream puffs( no one said they were gross( sorry every one)), and a Carmel apple truffle.

The loot, Tausha got a lot of meaningful gifts. and lots of fun ones to.

Kayde is busy or should I say keeping me busy!, I follow her around our house trying to control the mess. She LOVES dancing! I honestly have to encourage it, not saying I don't ha ha, she she shimmies, shakes her hips and shrugs her shoulders, too funny. She has now got eight little chompers! Yup and she is starting to bite a little. She Is cutting her eighth.I forgot to mention I am once again teaching dance, to kids 2-10 ish I teach all the beginning stuff, besides a Jazz class, so tap, clogging, ballroom, ballet. I love teaching it is alot of fun, yet so draining some days. I also decided to go to work, ok barely. I sub for a preschool. I thought If I have all these remodeling dreams, maybe I should try to invest a little of my money as well as john's.
PS, I'm older, ha ha I had a birthday the 30 of September(23 years young ha ha). It was a filled day! I got up took kayde to my moms, I just want to clean uninterrupted for the first time in forever. Then I decided I'd call m,y wrist doc, and tell them my cast is giving my husband the dry heaves it stinks so bad and my thumb looks like its rotting off, they wanted me to come up that day so we did. Miraculously they fit me right in hardly no wait, and got me a new cast with more movement in my thumb and fingers. I didn't need any other gifts that was great!. We got done met up with an old mission comp of Johns, chatted, then ran to Salina for dinner with some friends, and their kids, Thanks everyone who came! John got me camo( I wanted to feel cool hunting this year) 5 days til the hunt I think. I also got clothes form my parents, and Johns, and some other fun stuff as well.

OOPS!

Once again I'm behind! How does it happen so fast? So the 26th like the dork I am I decided to finish painting our house ...well the ladder slipped out from under me while painting. So I thought I was fine, so I brushed my self off and rinsed the cement rash off my legs and got back up and finished all but the back side of our house. By then my wrist was starting to really hurt so I hurried and got ready for the day, just in time for Kayde to wake up then I got her and told my mom of the events and waited for her to get done with work so she could watch Kayde while John and I went to the hospital( my doctor wasn't in). Well We went to the ER and they said I had a border line fracture on my Scapphoid(The scaphoid is located on the thumb side of the wrist, in the area where the wrist bends.) I guess it's a common fracture, but if it doesn't heal correctly the bone dies and you have to have surgery to fuse everything together.YIKES! So they splinted it until the specialist could fit me in. Then Thursday comes and it's the derby... well John and I had already paid entry fees to ride ATV's around the barrels( like the barrel racers) so I decided last minute to go ahead a ride. I actually beat 3 guys and 1 girl. Ha ha.
Derby bands( oh and my awesome splint I got for 2 weeks.

New Hair cut

Then Friday was Kaydences 1st Birthday.Well we had a great party! Thanks everyone who could make the trip! I make a "bug" watermelon that held our fruit, dirt salad complete with worms and burgers and hot dogs! Kayde loves almost every fruit and hot dogs so it was easy to choose food. I had planned on making the cake myself, but when I hurt my wrist I had to recruit some help from my mom and grandma when my mom was at work. I baked a banana bread layer and a carrot cake layer with cream cheese frosting, and decorated with marshmellow fondant, I had my mom roll it out but I was able to cut most of the shapes, and place them once she rolled it out.( thanks mom I know it stressed you)

The cake !

Kaydence couldn't figure out why her cousin(6 weeks younger than her) wasn't walking around with her so she tried to help him out.

The fruit bowl

We also went to back to Lake Powell. Can I say I love that place? We had an awesome trip. It was a Barclay family venture. Which included Mike, Susan, Ken, Lindsi, Cannon, and baby fetus, John, I and Kayde, Scott, Steph and Casen, Tausha, Steave and other baby fetus, and lovely Kayla! IT was so fun, We each took turns cooking I thought it was fun that way, then the same people weren't always cleaning and cooking(Momma Susan). We were there for 5 Days( not all of us). We rode super Mable(crazy 3 man tube), Wake boarded, Knee Boarded( Dad Mike still had the moves he jumped a few times and did a 360, I can't find those pics though. Mike bought a really nice projector( thanks Steve for helping him) so we projected movies up on a big sheet each night to wind down. Over all it was super fun!
Kaydence would cry to get on the beach, and cry when she had to leave it. Casen, and Kaydence's Bath tub. Kayde thought it was quite awesome, she could stand up in it and not fall.

Me wake boarding, ya I know not the smartest thing to do but I didn't last year so I figured I wore my splint and got up with my good hand so no foul.
Story time with the grandparents.

Canoe or Kayaking whatever it is. She loved going with her daddy!
My Specialist was Finally able to see me about 2 weeks after my falling off our roof. We looked at old X-rays, took new ones. He felt all over my wrist looking for tender spots and loose bones. After FOREVER( Kaydence was sick so I had to drag her with me so I conned my mom into coming with us, so she could watch her while I was with the Doctor. Any way like 2 hours later they decided my bones looked great but because of the bone that was injured, and a few tender areas, the life style I live, they still wanted to cast me! So I Have a cast yuck! I HATE IT! It's up around my thumb making my right hand nearly useless! Try changing diapers and chasing a 1 year old like that. haha. OOH while I was online the night before looking for the doctors office directions I got on KSL.com, just browsing and found what I thought was a steal of a deal on new appliances. So I jumped on it knowing I would be up north anyway. I was able to get a fridge, range, dishwasher, and over the range microwave for under 2000. They were out of a model home so they'd never been used . Yippee, their lost my gain! anyway now I'm waiting for john to modify our cabinets so we can hook up our microwave. PS did I mention it is all stainless.
New Shiny Range
My funky cast( you can't just get a plain color when they have tie dyed stuff! Oh its also water proof, they told me I should wash it out daily.
I've been crafting again. My bow class isn't really taking off. No one shows consistently, or really seams to care if it doesn't happen so give me some Ideas how I can save it. Anyway I get bored and I was invited to John's friends fiance's bridal shower(I'm just above acquaintance with her), but have really enjoyed hanging out with her, so I decided a home made gift would suffice. I put a lot of effort into what do you think I am willing to make more for a small fee. LOL
M( for Meagan) & sign T(for Taylor) and J(for Jones)
Final look, magnet board!
Kind of sweet if you ask me. I did three big magnets with joy, love and thanks. I hope she likes it. If not I'll take it back!! JK. Besides Jones est. 09-24-09 would probably look silly hanging on my wall.
Thanks for hanging in there and finishing this SUPER long post. I thought about putting it up in parts, but I would get one done then it would be who knows how long till I got another chance. Peace Out Starshine!
