Our Baby D'Enna is one!

What happens when a mom decided she is going to do a simple birthday cake and then gets on pintrest 2 days before the big party?... Stress, mess and too many fun ideas!!! I have fallen in love with the cute little owls that have flooded cyber land. So we ended up with cake pops and D'Enna got her own owl smash cake!
Forgot to buy something for eyes... back to the store.
Forgot to put the ears on...
Finished the owl smash cake and got the cake pops finished.
The mess I made and left(it was 2:30 am.)
The Final treats! minus the ice cream, They were so cute, but i still bit their heads off. :)
So With the way our rental is set up we could have had our party at our own house, but we literally only have 5 chairs besides our couches. So we didn't think everyone could fit. But John's Aunt and uncle live 5 minutes away and was generous enough to lend us there home for the afternoon.  So we had Judy, Grandpa Dan, Papa Mike and Grandma Susan, Grandma and Grandpa kloepfer, Stephanie and Siri , and Kayla Tyson and there baby bean.
Great Grandpa Dan, D'Enna loves to cuddle him.
Papa Mike! He and Susan came all the way from  Manti to come to her big party. They picked up Kayla and Tyson with them as well. It was so super nice of them to make the drive!!!!! Sorry to all the rest of you we really didn't want you to feel obligated to to come up. If you were wondering why you never got an invite.

She never really dug into the cake. It was funny to watch her such the bits of frosting off her fingers. She just wanted to eat the starburst flower i made for the owl. Silly girl.
Stephanie and  Siri. They were at John's aunts house just visiting. Siri is 6 days older that D'Enna so it is all ways fun when they can get together.I think she liked my owl treats the most. ;)
She got super spoiled clothes dolls, cash and books. What more could a 1 year old need!
