PIcture overload! I've been having fun!

Here is what has been going on.

OK how sad am I this is one of the three pictures I have of Kaydence's first Easter.

So anyone need a welder? That's right I finally made my OWN project, I always get these ideas and make John weld them. Well he finally had a spare weekend so I asked him if he could teach me how to weld. So I cut all but 4 of my pieces out and did all the bending of the metal, and did all but 8 of the welds! He says I'm really good already( I'm pretty sure it is because I'm his wife,

they didn't look to great to me)

My final project, it's for all my ribbon, the arms move so I can slide the spools on and off, I added some spokes on top for some extra thread!

We moved a pine tree! Hopefully we didn't kill it! but it has really opened up our back yard.

Thanks for a great day of Shopping Steph! I think we about did our kids in, this is how we found them when we stopped for a quick bite to eat.( yes I fixed Kaydence, no she wasn't happy about it)

I love how happy my baby is, she wakes up like this and pretty much stays this way til bed time!

I its official we are crawling. Nothing is safe and I need to deep clean and Kaydence proof everything!

It's Bow Time!!

Ok Mindy(my brother's wife) and I have decided that we are going to start up a "Bow Club" or class whatever you want to call it. It will be the first thursday of every month at 7pm. So this month we are going to try it at my house, we will be making 2 ribbon bows, and 1 flower clip each time we meet. All you need is $5, and your own hot glue gun ( you can get them for under $5 and will use them all the time! We will have all the materials. We have decided we don't want to meet up in the months of July or December, but don't you worry we have planned ahead so we can still make those Holiday bows:) Here is a sneak peak of what I'll be showing you how to make this time:)

Update Time

Here is what we have been up to.

The very first of this month (ok it was the 31st of last month) I got with some friends to have lunch for b-days. I was so nice to chat. We ended up just talking for like 3 hours.


John had a mission reunion, this is his favorite( I don't use this word lightly here) Mission President, and no he isn't a midget, but he isn't too tall either.

We gave up our Sadie!!!I can't believe we really did it.I had been feeling so bad that I haven't been spending enough time with her. Well a new home kind of .... found her. So We just gave her away to a little girl(I know the people and they were so excited to have her) I probably sound heartless, but I felt so good letting Sadie go to her new family. I hope she is happier. I'll post more details, or just call me if you want the whole story.

So as most new moms do I have been making tons of bows.Lets just say her old holder ran out of space, so I made this new one.I braided willows together then glued ribbon on it for the bows(I just made that sound a lot easier than it was!)


We had Kaydence's 6 month pictures taken(ok more like seven). they turned out so cute. I had Dave Peterson do them for me. I couldn't wait to get my prints so Here are my pictures of pictures. So All credit goes to Peterson Studios of Manti. He is so good to work with, I just showed up with all this junk and some copies of some ideas, and he snapped away. I'll put the real ones on when i get them.

I know I keep saying that Kaydence is really close to crawling, well here is proof she is really getting there. She can pretty much get to what she wants.

We are all happy and healthy, Kayde never stops amazing me and her daddy. Hope you All have a great Easter Weekend! I'm going camping , and I get to go to a spa/ see WICKED!! Can't wait for either thing, ya I know I'm weird.

Recap

The last 2 years have flown by. We were married, bought a car, and a dog, then found out a baby was on the way, went to the temple so our family could be sealed forever, bought a house and had our baby girl!!
So for our anniversary we decided to just go to dinner and a movie. Which is big, because we almost always take Kayde with us. But my Mom and dad watched her for us so we got to go all by ourselves! Well John got home from work a little late(like normal) So I was freaking out because I didn't want to be late(like normal). But we left only 20 minutes later than planned. We decided to go to Salt Creek Steak House in Nephi. So we were on our way, we pull off the freeway and there is not 1 single car in the parking lot!!! Great! John started freaking this time (which is not normal) I was like no worries, as long as you feed me something. Well Just as we head back out on the road there is a Taho or something with this huge bouquet of red roses.

John says "oh GOOD" I was like a kid in the Candy store they were for me. These two ladies pull up and ask if this was the ROMANTIC Husband. I said "well YES". We asked them If they knew what was up with the steak house I guess they had just started to close during the week (this was the first week, ha ha). So we asked them if there were any other good places for dinner. We went to this quaint little diner type place & both got steaks!!! Yum. So we finished up and headed to Ephraim to watch Coraline( I had wanted to see it). Well we were early shocker right! So we got to go say Hi to John's Brother and his little family.(I am so glad Casen is feeling better!!). When we get to the movie theater we get treats and ask for the Jumbo special( ya that's right and we get it every time). The lady Asks John if he wanted the "special" now. I was like DUH lady, why would I want my treats after the movie( All in my thoughts I would never dare say that out loud). Ha Ha. He says ya. She then goes in a back room(once again I'm going what the crap?) And brings out more roses!!!John said now I can't ever say he doesn't get me flowers, because there is one for every month we have been married, he is so funny.

So I know you are all jealous right, JK. This story is so funny to me because there is another steak house in Richfeild that I really like, So I had tried to get John to take me there. He had all ready made all the plans for my roses to be delivered at our dinner and movie places so he kept making these silly excuses as to why we needed to go the Nephi place. Ha Ha. Well thank you John for an awesome anniversary! And thanks mom and dad for watching the Kiddo!

2 years!

So It has been 2 years since John and I were married. And not to sound like a Missionary but it has truly been the best two years of my life. Not just getting to know and love John, but All the new people that I have gotten to know and love. Not too many people get to marry the man of their dreams AND get an awesome family( and there is a lot of them to be awesome!)But I sure did. I have always felt at home with them, they are all so kind. I hope you all know how much you mean to John and I.

I am so in love with John. He is such an amazing husband and Daddy( he was even up with Kaydence last night, he wouldn't let me take her.) He is so thoughtful. For as big and burly as he seems his heart is twice that size! I just wanted to say Thanks to him for all he does for me and our little family, and thanks to his family for making me feel so at home!

Love you for all eternity John!

Where did it go?

So I chopped my hair. I have been wanting a change for a long time. John even got me a gift certificate so I could. So I found my hair cut, let John choose how I should Dye it, and got it done! I cut off over 6 inches so some would freak but I was hardly nervous. I love my new do, it is so fast and easy! And you can all see a huge change. Just what the doctor ordered. Thanks Bradie and Thanks John for being so supportive and loving the result. He is so awesome! Also thanks everyone for all of your compliments, I am probably the worst person I know to except a compliment so sorry.

And wow I have horrible posture. I'll work on that!

What's Up?

Here are a few pictures of our Saturday the 14. It was so nice we just let her hang out on a blanket for a while, then we took a ride down to the farm. We always take a bb, pellet or 22( which are all small guns) anyway Kaydence was having a tantrum so we let her just sit on the seat( we were out west of town and only passed 2 cars but maybe 4 tractors, and didn't go fast). She was so happy, then she wanted her dad's bb gun. lets just say he was a little proud( also it was never loaded). She also got to sit in the tractor with her Grandpa Coates. She loves him (I think it's because he acts so crazy!). Oh ya she is now near a pro when it comes to eating and drinking. She loves anything but her baby food. And has really started to get good with her sippy cup. I can't believe how darn independent she already is. YIKES!!

Kaydence is so full of life! This is her bouncer if you couldn't tell from the video. She has figured out how to jump like crazy the last little while.

She has also gotten really good at "singing" as her grandpa Coates says. Everyone else says it is screaming. It can be cute but not for hours at a time when he is encouraging it. Hee Hee, but whatever makes him happy.And when she does stop she'll take the longest naps!
